PROGRAM - Our mission is to give our students the basic skills needed for a lifelong enjoyment of the sport of sailing, within a fun-filled and low pressure environment.
This summer our program will run for 7 weeks, from June 23rd through August 8th, with the final week as a bonus session. Costs will be: $150 for Sailing/Racing Skills Program, $75 for the Intro to Sailing Programs and $75 for the BONUS WEEK Sailing Program.
Reduced rate for early registration $130 for Sailing/Racing Skills Program and $65 for the Intro to Sailing Programs and BONUS WEEK Sailing Programs will be available for students that register before June 1st.
SKILLS SAILING & RACING PROGRAMS - Designed as a two-week session program for sailors 8 to 15 years old. The two-week sessions focus on developing sailing and racing skills. Instruction is done on optis, X-boats and 420's, depending on abilities.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE - Each session runs for two weeks, Monday through Thursday with 2 periods of instruction, a morning session from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm which will focus on sailing skills for beginner and intermediate levels, and an afternoon session from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm which will focus on racing skills for the more advanced sailors.Fridays mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm will be racing days for any sailors registered in the 2008 summer sessions.
INTRO TO SAILING PROGRAMS - Specially designed for children 5 to 8 years old sailors. Sessions run for one week, afternoons only, and also include Friday mornings as the racing day. Intro to Sailing focuses on the basics for kids to begin having fun while sailing. The programs has been extended to an A and B session, as 1 week long programs and instruction for Intro to Sailing is done only on optis.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE - Each session runs weekly of the 6 week normal 2008 sailing program season and sailors are taught between 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm. Friday morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm will be the racing day.
BONUS WEEK SAILING PROGRAMS - Final chance for sailors of all ages to enjoy and hone their sailing skills. This sessions run for one week only at the end of our sailing season. We offer this session in the mornings and afternoons and conclude the week with a Friday morning racing day. Join the fun and take part in this opportunity to better your skills.

* Please note that parents/guardians are required to sign in each sailor and stay for a 10 minute briefing on the first Monday of each session.
