2010 Season has closed. The information on this page and sub pages relates to class information for 2010. A new schedule and updated information will be available in the 2011 season. Please take the time to see all the details about our classes/courses that were offered. Schedule dates will change, but you can obtain enough information to plan for next year. A new registration form will be available when the dates have been finalized.

PROGRAM - Our mission is to give our students the basic skills needed for a lifelong enjoyment of the sport of sailing, within a fun-filled and low pressure environment.
This summer our program will run for 6 weeks, from June 21st through July 30th. This year we have the opportunity to offer an X-Boat Racing Clinic that is taught by Sam Rogers. This will be a 1 day and 2 day course.
Costs for programs will be: $150 for Sailing/Racing Skills Program, $75 for the Intro to Sailing Programs and $50/$100 for the special X-Boat Racing Clinic.
PLEASE NOTE: Every child should be able to tread water for at least 10 minutes and swim in a lake comfortably. Coast guard approved lifejackets and non-marring footwear are required.
WHAT EACH SAILOR WILL NEED:
Coast guard approved, well fitting, lifejacket
Non-marring, waterproof footwear
Water bottle
Sunscreen
Hat
Appropriate sailing clothing, including an extra t-shirt and a wind breaker. (sweatpants and/or sweatshirts - ON LAND USE ONLY).

SKILLS SAILING & RACING PROGRAMS - Designed as a two-week session program for sailors 8 to 16 years old. The two-week camps focus on developing sailing and racing skills. Instruction is done on optis, X-boats and 420's, depending on abilities. Sailing Skills (Ages 8-16) is designed for beginner - intermediate sailors. The Racing Skills (Ages 10-16) is designed for advanced sailors (Instructor approval required.)
PROGRAM STRUCTURE - Each camp runs for two weeks, Monday through Thursday with 2 periods of instruction, a morning session from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm which will focus on sailing skills for beginner and intermediate levels, and an afternoon session from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm which will focus on racing skills for the more advanced sailors.Fridays mornings from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm will be racing days for any sailors registered in the 2010 summer camps.
INTRO TO SAILING PROGRAMS - Specially designed for children just out of Kindergarten to 8 years old. Camps run for one week, afternoons only, except Camp 1 designated as a 2 week camp. Friday mornings are set for concluding as the racing day. Intro to Sailing focuses on the basics for kids to begin having fun while sailing. The programs has been extended to 6 Camps, as 1 week long programs with the exception of Camp 1 as a 2 week program. Instruction for Intro to Sailing is done only on optis.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE - Each camp runs weekly of the 7 weeks for the sailing program season and sailors are taught between 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm. Friday morning from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm will be the racing day.
X-BOAT RACING CLINIC - A 1 & 2 day camp is offered to improve skills of students who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in X-Boat. Specially designed for advanced sailors wanting to gain an edge in their competitive skills. This Camp begins in the morning and runs through the afternoon and is instructed by Sam Rogers.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE - Camp 1 (1 day) is July 7th and sailors are taught between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Camp 2 (2 day) is July 21st & July 22nd and sailors are taught between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
* Please note that parents/guardians are required to sign in each sailor and stay for a 10 minute briefing on the first Monday of each camp.
* Each camp can fill quickly, please send your registration form as soon as possible.
